Sacred Poems
Swananoah

Roses bloom along the wall
And last from spring until the fall
Many others have their place
A compliment to rose's face

The terrace blooms through out the year
As always was the case here
For parties or private affairs
Were always met by roses stare

They seemed to watch me in my walks
And listen closely in my talks
To marvel at my many works
And understand my many quirks

They loved me for each year they came
Their radiant blooms always the same
This floral palace made by me
Continues as a gift for thee
